Editing needs can vary widely depending on your specific project.
Christina Copy Co. has four tiers of copyediting services with upfront, transparent pricing.
Whether you need to check your book manuscript for errant commas or need a more hands-on, personal writing assist, there’s a Christina Copy Co. editing package for your project.
Editing includes fact-checking and smoothing AI-generated text. There’s no question AI generated text tools improve workflows and increase efficiency.
However, ChatGPT copy still needs a human touch. Some AI generated text uses unnatural syntax, misuses slang or – worst of all – may contain factual errors. A human editor can catch these errors quickly, saving you time and money without sacrificing quality.

Content editing with SEO optimization
$75 per 1,000 words with a 48-hour turnaround.
Includes manually adding SEO keywords to client-facing copy, suggested tags for photos, and/or backlink integration for increased domain authority. Also includes proofreading and copy editing. You will receive a list SEO keywords and suggested alt text for photos (up to four).
Copy editing
$20 per 1,000 words
Price increases to $25 per 1,000 words for highly technical copy with highly specific format requirements.
Copy editing is different from content editing.
Copy editing aims to clarify and “polish” content. Light rewriting may be necessary but this service does not include substantial rewriting or reorganization of content to achieve a specific tone, voice or style. This service includes proofreading.
Content editing
$25 per 1,000 words
Price increases to $35 per 1,000 words for a four-hour turnaround.
Includes rewriting and/or reorganizing content, copy editing and proofreading. You receive a fully edited, ready-to-publish piece.
Turnaround time averages 12 hours or one business day if requested past 3 p.m. MST. I will always set a deadline I can meet and check to ensure it is acceptable for your needs. Obviously, large manuscripts, academic papers, and technical whitepapers exceeding 11 pages will have longer turnaround times.
Proofreading:
- $4 per 1,000 words
- $5 per 1,000 words for highly technical academic or business white papers with heavy format and layout requirements
This is a technical service that corrects errors in grammar, punctuation and formatting. Content is not rewritten or adjusted unless absolutely grammatically necessary.
Large / Highly Technical Manuscripts:
- Pricing on manuscripts over 5 pages or that are highly technical will be priced a la carte. Please contact me to discuss your project.
